Ok thanks I'm in. Rather visually disconcerting at first. :o

EDIT: It looks like there is far more noise at discord than there is here. I don't know if that's a better place to get answers to operational questions or not. :?

I just bought via the InTheMix link but didnt get any extra presets
I read a comment on YouTube where Michael mentioned to open to plugin in standalone mode and it will download his presets automatically.
:tu:
Are there other features dependent on using the standalone do you know?

If you can make Vital sound as close to Diva as Serum, you can very well use it as an "all-rounder" synth for analog style sounds and the crazy digital evolving type sounds. People who say you can't do that are probably just trying to justify having spent thousands on different plugins :hihi:

Ok, already got tons of good answers to my questions from the Discord:

Vital IS capable of very complex multi layered modulation, in any way you can imagine. The key here is to understand that drag and drop is NOT as flexible on the main front panel as actually drag and drop when the mod Matrix is open. That is, you can not drag and drop multiple LFO modulation sources onto a single mod destination on the front page but you CAN do this in the actual mod matrix itself.

So yeah, basically you can do everything you can in FF Twin 2 but only with the mod matrix open.

The download worked for me in the vst plugin actually, the first time I opened it and logged in. Windows 8.1, Bitwig...

Ok got it thanks. Drag from the MW box to the Mod Matrix Amount with LFO set to Osc Tune gives Vibrato.

This? Bottom Right.

SoundHunterrr wrote: Sun Nov 15, 2020 6:50 pm Why are some person so aggressive when some people ask "bread + butter"? Why not just answer nicely or no answer if you don't like bread + butter? I don't understand this, now this thread is turning to fight "no you don't need bread + butter" and very aggressive style, not frienly or help!

My advice: when some one ask something you think is not importnt for you, you DO NOT need to answer or no need to be aggresiive.Thank you!

Now concentrate to help people and talk about this instrument. Not fight if bread + butter is important or no!

ANSWER: Some maybe think Vital look interesting, easy to use and hope it can make bread + butter. Yes some other synth can make bread+butter but maybe they are not so easy to use? Or maybe they are too expensive? Or maybe people just want to use Vital for some other reason for bread + butter, that is OK! It is not away from anyone!!!! STop the silly fight!
Because at least four ppl including myself have asked him to describe what bread and butter means to him... The closest he came to doing so was one post that says stuff like is in Massive X.... Massive X is very diverse. We still don't know what he is asking for.
The LEAST he can do is give us a better description of what he means or simply wait till the 24th and find out for himself.
That is why.

You don't need to be that aggressive and disrespectful, mate. I didn't answer quickly that because it wasn't me who first asked about "bread and butter" sound in this thread, so I was waiting for him to reply.
Yes but their bread and butter may not be your bread and butter, and if you have the same question what is preventing you from saying what is your bread and butter definition?
Anyway those with the bread and butter question can all find out on the 24th based on their own definition of same.

I didn't even know there was a standalone app on mac till an hour or two after using it as a plug in.
I did my download in Cubase.
I am not aware of any features that are standalone features.
Beta testers?

I'm not sure I get the point of that video. Could it be if you take the worst sounds ever programmed for DIVA can Serum match them? Yes I guess so.

Vital could easily make sounds that bad as well but again what would be the point? I certainly wouldn't use Vital for DIVA type sounds but there's nothing stopping anyone else from attempting to do so. Like I said Vital has Saw Waves and Low Pass etc Filters so knock yourself out.....

Thank. That’s the video I was referring to before to answer another post about Bread, Butter and Coconut Oil sounds.
