Hello (yes, there are 8 "S" letters in that title :D )

I wonder if anyone knows any good (newer) VST synths with similar sounds to what Jordan Rudess is using in his solos? Those fat lead sounds?
For example, in the songs "The Enemy Inside", "Act I: Scene Two: I. Overture 1928" or "On the Backs of Angels".
This topic has been asked already about 13 years ago, so I wonder if there are some new VSTs?

You could get those sounds with most any synth that has the basic subtractive waveforms and good ears, it's mostly about distortion and delay and feedback layers rather than anything really special oscillator/filter-wise.

Plus there's plenty of breakdowns/tutorials for these types of sounds on the net... search a bit. :)
