MuLab 7.7.4 Front Panel Parameters

Not entirely sure where this post needs to go, so I'll start here. Please let me know if this is not the correct forum.

I am a MuLab 7.7.4 Windows user, and I want to add a parameter to a front panel in one of the default effects. I have added a church reverb module to the Amp SIM Metal effect, and I want to be able to control the reverb without opening the modular area, to have it a Parameter option just like the Volume In, Out and Drive options.

I am able to edit the front panel, and edit the properties of the existing parameters, but for some reason when I enter edit mode, right click and select "Parameter". and then click to place one, nothing happens. No error, no notification, no icons, literally nothing.

Am I missing something? I feel like just clicking should add another parameter. Is that something that hadn't fully been implemented in this version of MuLab?
