On the web site See Upgrade Info merely goes to the FAQ page.
Please advise as to the correct procedure for existing owners to upgrade to 4.0.

I was not able to open my version 3.84 which I had not used in the last couple months. RC starts initializing and then it gets to "Setting up user interface" and then disappears.
So I started up the latest RC beta v4.0b13 and it starts fine.
Then I used the check for updates / download update and got version 4 downloaded and installed.
At the Completing the RC Setup Wizard I launched RC.
"Please enter the license key below"
I copied my license from the email that I received for v3.x. and clicked Unlock.
RC screen turns red and a message says "Unlocking the application..." but nothing happens.
I've waited for 15 minutes so I closed RC.
I do not see a short cut on my desktop either but I'm expecting one.
Should I be using the same key for version 4 or should I be waiting for an email with a different key?
I was able to start RC in demo mode.
Please advise.

To upgrade buy as normal and enter your V3 key as the coupon code,

I can now see the top of the FAQ page states:

- orders before April 1, 2019 can upgrade to v4.0 for USD 60 (full edition) or USD 30 (light edition). When ordering, please use your license key as the coupon code to get the upgrade price. We'll notify these customers about upgrading by e-mail.
Since I was a late 2019 joiner, I'm grandfathered! Can't beat that!

Has anyone of the "before 2019" owners already got an email ? I have not, dont know if its important cause I must have the license key somewhere, but before something might go wrong I thought I better wait for that mail......

Strange, but for me v3 key(to register v4 version) is not working(i downloaded v4 version through beta 4.013). My purchase was on the 8th of April 2019, so i am, probably,is a lucky guy with free upgrade and have to wait for Atilla,s letter with registration number and so on. And one dumb question - do we need an internet connection to authorise Rapid Composer?

I do not want to risk blacklisting because I send too many e-mails in a short time...
Other e-mails for paying upgrades will go out in the next few days. Still, you can upgrade if you type your license key in the coupon code field. If the coupon code does not work, please notify me in e-mail, and I'll fix it immediately.
I have added the missing info in the FAQ.
