They are new builds as of this morning.

On Cubase mac, vst3, is a bit better, but still doesnt work like its vst2 version (or other plugins).

Version: 1.0.0
- Moving default install location to ~/Music on mac.
- Fixed loading saved window size in plugin.
- A couple fixes for multiple monitors at different scalings.
- Finished fixing memory/cpu issues on high dpi screens like macbooks
- Fixing a graphics slowdown and memory usage on high dpi screens.
- Fixed logging in with emails with '+' and other weird characters.

Version number remains the same.

The update shows lower cpu in Bitwig, but I am getting random cpu crackles more often.

I'm using it on a 15" 2019 MBP running Catalina

That's the best demo I've heard so far of Vital. Very nice indeed.

Glad you like it! Vital has plenty of sweet spots... but it is not all sweetspot. Like any complex wavetable synth, it needs some tweaking to bring out the best tones. (by best I mean the tones each of us likes). I rendered this at 4x oversampling cause the FM was slightly crisper than at 2x.

hmmm. i like my FM like i like my women... slighty crispy, 2x oversampled.

I think there's some weird aliasing going on. If I add a low-pass filter, the headache goes away. Most people seem to be unaffected, though. (Edit: Or get defensive about it as you can see below )

Several businesses selling expensive synths that are both harder to use, and less fun to use, and are not fully cross-platform, are giving out free aspirin, but the drinks are not on the house. Competition is fierce
