Because once I coverted all my bought and collected single-cycle waveforms (Galbanum and other stuff) to TXT files because there was a synth who could only load TXT files as waves (was it Atlantis?)

So initially I thought it's about converting TXT files to wave/-table files.
Yeah it's like text to speech but in a wavetable.
1. Right click on the wavetable, select "Text to wavetable"
2. Type something in and hit enter
3. Play a note and scroll through the wavetable.
4. To make it sound more like a voice select VOCODE mode from the first knob on the right of the wavetable.

Hey Matt! Really excited about this synth, though it was a bummer for me when you decided to end the pre-sale deal early. Understandable you'd do this because of being deluged with support requests, but I had set aside some time on the last day of the deal to weigh my options and decide, when suddenly *yoink* the deal was pulled out from under me.

Is there any way we'll be able to get the "In The Mix" deal sometime later?

Well the In the Mix deal was $20 and the price for the same version will be $25 so it's not that much of a loss ? There were a few extra presets but to be honest you won't be missing much there.

It's 5 times the price, i'd love to know peoples opinions as it's been on my radar.

Phaseplant is just a different fruit altogether. Its a modular workflow, similar to UVI Falcon or NI Reaktor. I'd bet there are things it can do that Vital can't and vice versa.

Yep, the deal was more about getting early access than anything. The extra presets are nice enough, but if you are already looking at Vital at this price point, I would imagine presets wouldn't be as important anyways...? Otherwise just grab the plus version.

$25 is still a crazy fair price for what the synth can do, and how nice it is to work with.

I have been playing around with Vital quite a lot now and I'm still impressed. A manual would be nice anyway. I understand that it is being written at present. Will it be ready in time for the actual release of Vital on Tuesday?

There are tons of presets available in the Discord channel, the one I posted above is also available there (Search for "FunkyTown.vital"). The channel has a render-bot that automatically creates a preview for uploaded presets, so you don't have to download tons of stuff you don't want.
