I'm not really vibing with Monique so I thought I'd do an ambient drone and post early. Three instances in Live with Valhalla Supermassive. EQ8, Compressors, Limiter, Auto Pan, Auto Filter, Echo, and Delay.

I found a way to create crazy pitch bends with this despite it not having a pitch bend. You'll need a midi arpeggiator and a fast attack sound. Turn the arpeggiator on in monique and map a midi controller knob to the note / pitch knob of the first step in the arpeggiator / sequencer and then just play your keys whilst turning the dial.

Snare is two layers with OTT and EQ plus a reverb bus.
Kick is a portamento down as Z suggested - it's a long, muddy note that also goes portamento up at the end to build into the snare sound.

*Crap joke starting to smell so I deleted it along with Pulsar Smasher, and added another layer to the bassline while I was at it.

3rd party effects must be easily available freeware: this does not include plug-in betas, demos, magware or freeware that has expired, unless a special exception is made that month.

According to the rules you will have to replace Pulsar Smasher with another free plugin.

Possibly useful, regarding CPU usage

: switching of all oscilloscope functions gave me a little improvement. ( Wasn't using those and totally overlooked them

) . It's now back from worse to just bad.
