The lovely gentle piano is very cool.
The scrapping sound is very effective.
Enjoyed. Well done! :)
Cheers, John...
Very interesting (well to me anyway) that the 'scraping' sound of those bells has had quite a strong response from people...both quite positive and negative.

Maybe part of the answer lies here? :dog:  :scared: 8) :x :P :ud:  :hihi:

Lord Varys: I've always hated the bells. They ring for horror. A dead king, a city under siege...
Tyrion Lannister: A wedding.
Lord Varys: Exactly.

Good stuff, very involved and relaxing, always a sucker for a good scraping (put me in the out of context thread now... :hihi: ) sound.

Cheers for the feedback - always, always welcome.
This bit interested me. I think I work quite similar in a way - when I'm on form I can write a whole song in less time it takes to play it, off the top of my head, especially on the bass VI. The tricky part is then deciding how to streamline it, and not be afraid to make bold choices in terms of the arrangement. Cut, cut, and cut some more! (thereby writing the next tory election manifesto...)

As I've said before - if it doesn't work out, you can always write another one...

Leaving it up to the listener is always one of my favourite ploys...
A red listen then.

Hi DT,
Yeah, no arguments from me at all!

Weird the reaction to pieces that get posted...almost impossible to judge which ones will create debate etc. When I posted this one and the Epic 'Dante thang' I expected the other one to get a few WTF comments etc, but (although far, far from controversial) it's this little ditty that's raised the more interesting points!
