A bit of topic but anyway..

Back in 1992 Trent Reznor started posting on a message board and got flamed and banned for being an imposter. Trents comment on the matter in August 1994 interview in Industrial Gear Magazine was:

"I logged on to see if anyone had anything interesting to say, and I found a million bits of false information about nine inch nails. I actually left a note, but you can't have any user names there. Your own name pops up. And a million letters, "You're not Trent Reznor, f**k you!" I actually got kicked off. I logged on again to see and it said "You have been accused of using a pseudonym and we don't allow that here." So I was like, "Well, then f**k it."
