If you like a plugin that keeps it simple and handles one thing well - and happen to like classic old Simmons drums - check out Hex Drum. It sounds great and has one of best UIs I've used. Very well thought out.

I couldn't find a way to add the related plugin until after posting. By the way, you can also use the KVR search to find the plugin in the database. It has most of the details you need as well as links to the developer's site.

Very nice plugin. The GUI is gorgeous, and the sounds nails the classic drumsynths.

Yes, the sounds are generated, there is no sample inside.

Love me some Simmons and this is a very good take on them. I’m very interested in what comes next from OSL. The free Chorus is nice too.

How does it sound compared to Aly James' Simmons emulation?

It seems a bit similar to Drumatic 4, which I have been demoing for a couple of days now. Both follow that building block approach.
