Renoise is my favorite host at the moment :)
For a tracker it is simply amazing.
The only thing better then this would probably be Buzzle, but I'll just have to wait a few months for that.

This is indeed good news, i grabbed the registered user beta but haven't had time to try it, busy with ableton live.

Oh, and final year of my degree :-o

 even better then I expected, great work, and thumbs up for the Renoise team

I love it

If it would be able to run as vsti I would be heavily interested. Now I'm not interested at all :)

I guess thats the renoise community's loss then

Yeah we're all hoping for a decent VSTi tracker plugin, one day we'll get one i'm sure. There is one in development but i've not tried it, or heard much about it so it can't be that great right now.

If I'd even get skale tracker to run as a vsti I think I'd really enjoy using it. But I did not get it to work :) The best would ofcourse be to have decent pattern editor built in into the arrangement editor, so that you could edit parts either in piano roll or in pattern editor. Because I want to automate vst parameters etc as well, ofcourse :) With pattern editing, gate effects are obsolete imo.

All i need is Cubase midi tracker (ala Step Designer). Someone could just turn Psycle, which is public domain, into vst or midi plugn. No need to start from scratch.

There is a tracker VSTi project, currently in beta but available i think. Off the top of my head i think its called "ReVisit".

If anyone has the chance to try this they might care to post some comments. I will do if i get the time.

I like my song parts to be easily visible in the arrangement :) Hence a standard for "editor plugins" would be neat...
