Being able to pitchbend chords and keep them in key at all times is just nice, then to be able to pitch down but have new notes play at their actual pitch is also cool. Just gave the demo a spin and will be buying.

The one feature I'd add: an option to turn it into a full-blown note quantizer too with options to round up, round down. This way you have the option to always be locked into the correct key if you so choose.
Thank you!
Interesting you mention that, as Cubase 11 just added a similar note quantizer feature.
Possibly that because of my piano background, I never felt the need in that, but seems like it's a useful feature that people need.

Well, I'd say till it keeps the plugin as "fluid" in the playing/pitch bending/cpu handling.

Congrats for your good work!

A really great idea!
Downloading the demo.

Purchased. Good but it is buggy still.

Need visuals to show pitch bend data is received even if no notes are playing !

Great concept!
So no need for a seaboard anymore.

Nice idea, neatly implemented.
Clear and helpful video by Gal and Eyal as well.
Thanks :)

More users would be interested if it was around $30.
Whats the actual price?
They have a unique and incredibly useful product, so that price seems reasonable.

Thank you all for your comments!

Thanks for reporting! We fixed it and will be posting an update in the next couple of days, along other bug fixes and some new features like the ability to map the entire scale/microtune settings to keyswitches for live control.

I've long wished something like this existed! Great idea!

I purchased it shortly after trying it with Serum. Oddly though, the MPE thing doesn't seem to work properly with all MPE-capable synths, unless I am doing something wrong. I am using Reaper. For me, Serum works perfectly with Fluid Pitch. Diva and Repro 5 also work great (I didn't realize these were this MPE compatible). But Pigments, Kaivo, Surge, and Vital, the only other supposedly MPE capable synths I have, all fail to work properly for me. The pitch bends are not correct. It is as if the regular pitch bend information prior to Fluid Pitch is getting past Fluid Pitch. I don't know if this could be a Reaper issue. I tried a lot of different settings combinations in these synths and nothing seemed to yield the right behavior.

Anyone else having a similar issue? Am I doing something wrong?

I am pretty happy to have this capability in Serum, Diva, and Repro 5, but it would be nice to get it to work in these other synths as well!

Thanks for reporting. Yes, this is indeed a Reaper issue - for some reason it’s not ׳allowing’ midi plugins to filter out the original pitch bend message that comes in on channel 1.

We tried to handle it by passing the MPE messages starting in channel 2, but as you can see it only works correctly if the plugin was ready for this kind of channel-shifting.

I believe it shouldn’t be an issue with said synths in other DAWs.

I was afraid of that! Is there any workaround that you are aware of, short of buying and learning a different DAW? Have you reported the issue to Cockos?

We probably should be reporting it to them, they're usually very good at patching things!
I'll do that later today and keep you posted.

As for workarounds: I haven't been able to find ones yet. I do have some plugins I'm working on for my personal projects (nothing to do with Pitch Innovations or Fluid Pitch) that attempt to fix all kinds of midi connectivity problems in DAWs, including this one.

It seems like with the exception of Logic, that has the "MIDI FX" concept, most DAWs have all kinds of rough edges when it comes to a 3rd party plugin manipulating the MIDI. But I'll follow up and try to get it fixed in Reaper.
