Incredible synth with a 50% discount.
Where did you see Biotek 2 at 50 % discount, please? Isn't $199 at the Waveform website the regular price?
99 $ if you apply the black Friday discount code.
I downloaded the demo last week and I'm really impressed by Biotek2 : a true beast with a nice workflow.
It was under my radar ...

Anyone here knows how this compares to the Granular engines in Falcon?
no, I had a look at this but decided to stay with Dust, which I prefer (going by the Granulizer demo only) https://www.soundmorph.com/product/49/dust
Dust is 50% off and also works as an FX but is probably a bit harder to come to grips with and definitely not as polished as a complete instrument like Granulizer seems

We've got some tasty discounts until December 2 https://www.discodsp.com/shop/

I'm thinking about an Ethera by Zero-G. They are all 35 percent off. But there were better shortterm deals of select Etheras in the past. So I may want to wait a little bit longer. 'Cause I'm into cheap shit only.

I got Korg M1 for $50, and Kick 2 for £27.

You probably need to use the code BLACKFRIDAY2020 to get the 50% discount.
Thank you for the heads up! Bought, installed and having fun… :hihi:
If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Buy the old (non 2.0) Soundscapes for 20 €. When buying any Ethera product you pay less for the others and get the update to 2.0 for 35€.

My BF instruments purchase intentions so far:

- Steven Slate Drums 5.5 - 67% off (still on the fence though... just don't like I-Lok and I am already mostly covered on drums...)
- SplashSound Epic Percussions - 80% off

If I needed synths I would probably look at Biotek 2, Pigments 2 and Arturia Collection, but I already have too much in this regard (seems incredible but I'm increasingly using NI Kontakt Retromachines MkII, a lot of hidden gems and so much vintage soundscape ground covered...)

There is for sure overlap. I got Granuliser a bit ago, for more mullah (like $50 or so), and I'm jealous this price is up. I have Falcon but still use Granuliser. Granuliser has some controls that aren't directly in IRCAM Multi Granular, but Falcon has so many effects one can use additionally.

The other day, I just flipped through Granuliser presets and kept swapping in a didgeridoo sample--got nice sounds I would not have easily gotten with Falcon.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

I have been eyeing XO and Atlas for a while now, but the pricing and lack of consistency from the developers (along with being specifically for drum sounds) have made me reluctant to pull the trigger. Both are on sale now, with XO at its lowest price, I believe (around $75 USD at resellers).

I recently learned about the Synonym sample browser, but was discouraged because the app and website shows no activity for the past year. However, I checked their Twitter feed, and an update and sale are imminent.

It's "mostly stability and bugfixes", but I think this is the droid I'm looking for.
