If not, I'll add it to my list of 64bit freeware synths thread
Free for everyone, period. No time limit.

Thank you :)

Factory Patches: Steel Drums

Sounds like a nice bass synth but nothing like steel drums.

Sounds great, thanks for the freebie!

What a great free synth- nice and simple but a great raw sound - stick the (free) Valhalla Super Massive after it and you get some lovely sounds!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Awesome!

Thanks, that preset will automatically update the next time you run Surrealistic MG-1 Plus. It's not the world's greatest Steel Drum patch, but it's from the original MG-1 manual! We've made it a little better.

The Concertmate MG-1 (and it's relatives, the Rogue, Liberation, Taurus 3, etc.) really can sound great!

The vid is really well done, in that "captures the Radio Shack 80's advertising vibe" sense.

I remember playing one in a RadioShack back in the day and not being impressed but time has a way of dulling the memory.

Free Cherry Audio MG-1 with any purchase of $20 or more when you use coupon code "FreeMG1"
I have no idea why JRR advertised it that way. Unfortunately we have no control over how 3rd party retailers choose to offer the product. But yes, the Surrealistic MG-1 Plus is totally free for everybody, period.

Thank you for the freebie.
Nice video, with a library vibe!
Is the GUI resizeable (or can we hide the keyboard)?

Post

Freely resizable, or in levels of 10%. I didn't find a way to hide the keyboard, but, I might have missed something...
