Help! DR-008 Rewire trips live 4.0.4

Ableton support has suggested that I remove the DR-008 Rewire client as they are guessing it crashes Live on startup. I have no idea how to do this...suggestions?

Do you know how to get to your folder that holds all your plug-ins (i.e. Steinberg VST folder)? Just curious, why do not you use DR-008 as a regular Vsti instead of a Rewire client?

I don't use DR-008 with Rewire but must have installed it at some point in the past...tried to remove the Rewire/DR-008 *.dll file from the SX VST directory but it doesn't solve the problem...will try uninstalling the whole deal now
