How is Notion compared with Sibelius and Finale?

I ran Notion 6.5 with StudioOne 4 and find it buggy.
First midi, two handed piano, was all messed up some bars in between. Completely lost navigation the midi. It played perfectly in StudioOne.

And also looked at simple things like deciding to split a midi into two staves, like they call Grand Piano staff. Could not do it once imported. You could only do at import - and if named Piano as midi. You could also do as recorded live - otherwise not doable.

In Cakewalk/Sonar Staff View you do this real easy - just open dialog and decide double staff, and select which note to split at - OK, and done. You can redo this until you get nice readability as played.

I even tried this simple operation in Finale - and they only had a plugin for that, that was so complicated with settings I could not get a predictable result. Finale though has nice template as you import and get it split, and redo if looks weird.

Im using notion 6 , Im trying to add Trill and dynamic techniques , I'v added on the sheet but it does not perform the trill and others , what is the way to go with?

You need to make expression maps to map the articulations to the libraries you use.
Or, if you have the old (not the new synchronized) VSL special edition, you can use that with the included maps. If you have EW QLSO (Gold) you can use the old but still still functional templates you find in the web https://forums.presonus.com/viewtopic.p ... 755#p38755

Well, there is a GUI, but in the end it's easier to copy and edit the XMLs
