Valhalla Delay would be my go-to, you really can't go wrong with it (Sound quality/CPU/Price)
Echoboy sounds great, but as mentionned before, it adds some latency.
Unfiltered Audio Sandman Pro for sound mangling and crazy modulations.
As for freeware, Valhalla Supermassive is a beast. Not your typical delay plugin though.

EchoBoy and Valhalla Delay are my go-tos for most delay needs, but I've started using Logic's Delay Designer a lot more lately and really like it. I have a bunch of other delays that I use for more creative/mangling needs. Just picked up the Surreal Machines Dub Machines for dirt cheap during their BF sale, so I expect those to get lots of use.

Echo Boy & Valhalla go to's for pretty much anything and everything. That said let me throw an outlier into the mix. Lately, I've been having a lot of fun with Overloud OTD2.

Modnetic beats them all. Bizarre it wasn't included in the video above shootout posted above.d2dsf wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 4:31 am I'm trying to figure out which one of these 3 I like more (if at all). Anyone have opinions?

Maybe because Modnetic isn't instantly recognizable as a Space Echo emulation? It's a good one for sure. And very cheap at the moment too.mholloway wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 6:54 am Modnetic beats them all. Bizarre it wasn't included in the video above shootout posted above.
