LVCAudio Toned-Max has been recently updated to V3.0 and looks like an EQ monster now (optional analog modeling, many filters, linear and minimal phase, oversampling, dynamic EQ with sidechain, and even more).
It's now at 50% off on their website, at 25$.

I already have TB EQ-V4 but haven't really used much until now, I'm now using a lot TDR-Nova (the free one, not GE). The linear phase stuff seems intriguing.
I don't dare to say that it's directly challenging Fab Filter Pro-Q 3 but actually featurewise seems so...
I'm thinking of getting Toned-Max, anybody knows it and can tell how it's good (or not?)

CraveEQ is interesting but much fewer features and more than twice the current price of Toned-Max...

Melda MAutoDynamicEQ can also do pitch tracking. Possible to add any harmonics you want and step filters up to 124db. It is on sale now (50 Eur. Though I got it for 29 as I noticed that I had some credits on my account)

FWIW I have TB-EQv4 but still prefer Nova GE for dynamic EQ. The compression is really well-behaved and easy to dial in, and the CPU usage isn't really as prohibitive as people make out.

Newest update to Nova solved a hair of latency for me. But EQs are like beers

Exactly. It's about tastes. In my case I don't think I benefit from having a do-it-all EQ.
Usually on my track template I have Nova GE and Slick EQ GE. Nova with the spectrum analyzer disabled.
I use Nova GE for cleaning resonances and narrow cutting.
Then Slick EQ, first using the tilt filter to get in the ballpark if required, then the 3 bands on stepped mode. This allows me to make decisions fast.
In my case if I don't do so I start overdoing it, so I need something limited. I also turn off the spectrum plot to avoid mixing with my eyes. If you are seasoned you maybe don't care about these things and work faster while having everything on the same place.

OK, I see.... then the question... is there a reliable and quality soundwise linear phase EQ on the same price ballpark as TB EQ V4 and LVC Toned-Max?
I also have the free Voxengo MarvelGEQ, it is declared as linear phase but is not so convenient to use for me (fixed frequencies and bandwidth)

Doesnt the GE Version of Nova also have a #linear 'Precise' & 'Insane' - Mode?

I think they're linear in the sense that they are uber-clean and don't include any of the subtle saturation. I think that's what Dan Worrall said in the Nova video way back when.
