Hi Everyone!
I had something I wanted to do the other day, I wanted to switch or swap items (clips) in the arranger / sequencer in Reaper. In other words, have a shortcut to automatically put clip 1 where clip 2 was and vice versa in one fell swoop. Does this feature exist in Reaper or any daw for that matter?
Thanks!

This sounds close to what you want and if not could likely be modified.

EDIT - Only just noticed as wasn't home earlier. It says on different tracks. I wanted it on the same track. Not sure if that would work.
Thanks.

I don't know Reaper all that well... just trying to be helpful, but it seems possible.

Now I'm looking for a midi editor shortcut to do (this is from FL Studio) like a mirrored copy / paste of notes. So if you have like a bunch of notes that go up like one half of a triangle, the copy would be like the opposite, so like the opposite of the triangle of notes would get pasted if that makes sense.

Google search came up with this:Eclectrophonic wrote: Fri Dec 11, 2020 2:51 pm Now I'm looking for a midi editor shortcut to do (this is from FL Studio) like a mirrored copy / paste of notes. Not sure what you meant there. In FL Studio it's called Flip. I've found it in Reaper. It's called Reverse Selected Events in the Midi Editor Action List. There's also Reverse All Events and 4 Vertical reverse options.leeleema wrote: Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:17 pmGoogle search came up with this:Eclectrophonic wrote: Fri Dec 11, 2020 2:51 pm Now I'm looking for a midi editor shortcut to do (this is from FL Studio) like a mirrored copy / paste of notes. EDIT - Oh you thought I just meant normal copy and paste?

Ableton Live has this. If you select a set of midi notes and select the "Inv" button it will invert them. It also has a button to mirror them horizontally with the "reverse" button.Eclectrophonic wrote: Fri Dec 11, 2020 2:51 pm Now I'm looking for a midi editor shortcut to do (this is from FL Studio) like a mirrored copy / paste of notes. Invert sounds good. Found the Reverse Notes in Reaper. Just looked up Invert, brilliant, found that too, that's what I wanted. Helps to know what the feature's called doesn't it lol!boark wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 5:32 pmAbleton Live has this. If you select a set of midi notes and select the "Inv" button it will invert them.
