But linear = latency

Post

linear phase, yes; linear amplitude/frequency response, no

Yepp, it seems to refer to the 'non-linearity' in the Precise- & Insane- Modes; referring to the #saturation (non-linearity). So Nova GE is like a minimal - phase EQ, not a linear one. There is an interesting Discussion about all of this (german) and with the guy who developed the Deedger with TDR. I also remember one on that same channel with Fabien, discussing similar Things.

TDR Nova GE is the only one that can learn the audio and do a static or even dynamic deresonate, right?
Absolute winner for me.

The Nova can do that and is indeed a Top Notch #tool; Melda has a similar one & EQ4 has some #AI - function which maybe goes in the same Direction, yet also not Matching. LVC doesnt do any of that.

For a keenly-priced linear-phase EQ with a nice interface, Acon Equalize is often discounted to the same ballpark as the other EQs under discussion. (But not at this moment :( )

The DDMF LP10 is always reasonably priced but I'm not so keen on the UI. Like the Acon it has a variable phase-linearity control.

I haven't tried lkjb QRange but it's free and people like it?

Yes, linear response; I also like the idea of linear phase. It takes some good programming for certain. I recently made a mid side eq but not linear phase. Maybe I'll try to make one soon :).
I don't make audio products anymore. I sell furniture & smart products.

Gonna try QRange, it seems really interesting.
Thanks!

That's the one I use when I need Linear Phase... no complaints with it so far :tu:
