That's the same error I got when changing presets. It didn't happen at first, maybe just certain presets using certain algos or something? I could click through the errors and continue fine.

Vortifex wrote: Thu Nov 26, 2020 11:55 am Very buggy. Have to close 4 error pop-ups every time I change a preset, and around 10-12 error pop-ups every time I change the FM algorithm. Also in FL Studio it displays itself above other windows even when the setting to do that is disabled. Pretty much unusable at the moment.

Also of note I don't get the error pop ups in Cakewalk,Reaper, or Orion when changing Algos so it appears to be an issue in FL Studio.

I do not get the "displays itself above other windows" issue. Opzilla seems to perform as all other plugins do (when set to "Detached")

Win 10 64 bit. FL Studio and Opzilla 64 bit.

I just tried the new version for a while and didn't get the error once so yay, looks fixed.

Thanks.

Awesome. Enjoy !

This thing is awesome! So much fun, and it sounds surprisingly good! Winner winner, so many new synths these days, we are spoiled.

Too bad its preset browser is not so good.

I'm running the demo and failing to see how this isn't a bog-standard FM synth in pretty much every category... and the 'dozens of possible algorithms' selling point isn't exactly convincing me otherwise. FM8 is over a decade old and has a routing-matrix that, shock, provides dozens upon dozens of possible 'routings' -- any routing you could think of, in fact. But providing a canned selection of dozens of algorithms is 'new' in 2020? Not getting it....

Post

Some people actually hate the FM8 / Rhino style routing matrix.

don't forget the pricing of this synth. FM8 is 15 times more expensive

OpZilla being a simpler concept can be easier to use. Everything on 1 screen is also a strong point.

Let's just assume it's not for you, then. For me, it's great.
I don't like anything much more complex than OpZilla.

Certainly. It is a very easy to use 4-OP FM synth. It does it's job quite well. Especially considering it's price.

Do you need anything more complex though ? You can use a menu to go into a category, then previous/next preset to browser presets through the list.

I suppose we could add an extra tab in the screen area where you can navigate the presets list. But you would have to chose between that, and the main algorithm page. I'm not sure it would be useful.
