Is there a plugin with a spectrogram that works similarly to the one by Flux?
I've tried the one in Insight 2, but I don't feel like it reveals as much.

MeldaMultiAnalyzer/Analyzer(free) should do the Trick.
Maybe also take a look at Ben Schulz Audio. https://schulz.audio

If you're only interested in the spectrogram, try SPAN (plus).

I have both and agree - I much prefer Flux over Insight 2. Just curious, what is it about Flux PA that you don't like?jackson881 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 5:57 pm Is there a plugin with a spectrogram that works similarly to the one by Flux?

I really want Flux, but it's too expensive atm. Does it ever go on sale?cryophonik wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 6:44 pmI have both and agree - I much prefer Flux over Insight 2. Yeah, it's definitely not cheap. I paid full price about 6 years ago or so, and since bought the Session Pack for a no-brainer sale price (can't recall how much) a year or two ago and it included the more limited Session Analyzer Essential. Maybe someone else knows, but I can't recall if the full Pure Analyzer was also on sale at the time.jackson881 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 6:53 pmI really want Flux, but it's too expensive atm. I may end up going for the Flux eventually. It really does seem incredible. I just thought I'd check the other options out there first. Thanks again!cryophonik wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 7:15 pmYeah, it's definitely not cheap. Flux Studio Session Pack is relatively inexpensive, on sale it's in the $70 range and gets you a ton of other really great tools. You get Studio Session Analyzer which is great for music.jackson881 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 6:53 pm I really want Flux, but it's too expensive atm. Does it ever go on sale?
Note you need the more expensive Analyzer Essential if you want the live, loudness, and multichannel/surround options, but for stereo music just grab YouLean for loudness. Flux is primarily aimed at post production which is why it's expensive. It's pretty nice they created the Studio Session product for musicians. Flux Analyzer really is that great.
