Isn't that what happened last year? You may want to revisit the early days of the V7 thread.tonedef71 wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 7:45 pmI was considering that, too. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that $149 is the new $99 for best V Collection upgrade price.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 7:38 pm I'm sure I'll wait 8 months or so for the "upgrade for $99 sale." It's an every year thing so if you feel like the upgrade price is too much, forget about it for now. You'll get a much better price in the summer.![]()
I mean, look, it's $50. If someone wants to wait 8 months to potentially save $50, then by all means. If you can afford the extra $50 to get it now and not get mad when they offer it for $99 later on, then go for it.
I just don't want folks spending $150 thinking it's the lowest it will ever be, then feeling like they were burned if they see it for $99 in the spring or summer.

They seem to be getting hammered both on the website and installer app...doesn't look like I'll be getting to play these today.

I'll revisit my Hideaway Studio Collection and my Rhythmic Robot gems. So much vintage fun on my harddisk...
To be serious: the upgrade prices are too steep for me, sorry, ladies!

For me it's a $149 upgrade from V7 -- I wonder why it's different for you?miloszz wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 6:05 pm $200 upgrade from V7 - I have TAL's Juno and Synapse Obsession already. Really want the Emulator but I'm going to have to demo the new Jupiter to see if that can make the cost easier to swallow.
Edit: Ah, because I also have the OBX, that's why.

Glad to have this new thread. Most of my questions already answered by others and by members of the Arturia team.
As someone mentioned, $50 a piece for the new instruments seems quite fair, and especially having the overhauled Jupiter and the new Stage 73. I've already seen a very positive review of the new Stage 73 on YT.
The updated pricing kind of evens itself out given the ability to spread the purchase out via monthly payments, so thank you for that. I am really happy to see Arturia putting some impressive work into updating the overall code and not just polishing up the outer appearance. As has been mentioned: congratulations and keep up the good work!

Ah but 6/60/106 don't sound QUITE the same.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 6:26 pm Too bad it's the Juno-6 as Tal version of the 60 is near perfect. Would have ben cool for Arturia to do the 106 instead since Roland cloud is annoying.

I like how they give you 5 activations and the ASC is easy to use.

I have Juno-6x emus in TAL-U-NO-LX (like everyone else) and Roland Cloud, but it's probably my favorite having-fun synth so I don't mind a third one. Think I'll see what happens if I dial in the same patch on all three emus and pan them left/right/center.
I also want to get some large bird samples so I can have an emu on the Emu-II emu.
