Angling for a gig to compose new music for a Liberty Mutual ad?dumbledog wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:55 pm I also want to get some large bird samples so I can have an emu on the Emu-II emu.

It is also about time for Liberty Mutual to move on from their current jingle of "Liberty liberty ... liberty! Lib - er - ty!"

True about the 6/60 vs 106, which is why I said it would have been better to make a 106.EvilDragon wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:45 pmAh but 6/60/106 don't sound QUITE the same.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 6:26 pm Too bad it's the Juno-6 as Tal version of the 60 is near perfect. Would have ben cool for Arturia to do the 106 instead since Roland cloud is annoying.![]()
But I thought the 6 and 60 were the same except missing arpeggiator and added midi, no?

No kidding? You're probably not like LiMu's Doug, I'm guessing.

Pleased to meet you on KVR, Doug!

Heads up to everyone on Analog Lab 5, it now only carries 2000 selected presets from the V Collection 8. Reviewed the page a few times to make sure I was seeing it right, sadly I was. Not a big deal if you are upgrading, but for those of us waiting, really no reason at all to switch from Analog Lab 4 that I can see. If you can't access all the presets of the plugins that you own, I really don't get the point of it. Hoping someone points out how I am wrong....

Unfortunately, for me the general picture is - i really do not need OBx and Jun6. But Emulator II and Vocoder looks interesting. (As well updates for Jup8 and Stage73, it's ok). V7>V8 200$, so, basically 100$ per new instrument.. That looks not exactly tempting as for upgrade price. Additionally - need check, do really EmuII has difference\advantages in engine compare with CMI (ok i will not mention Synclavier sample engine).
I apologize for such a huckster tone, but such simple a bucks situation.
(For compensation - I really love CMI and Synclavier plugs, it's worthy gems).

It's good to see that they are going back and redoing some of the weaker instruments in the collection. I also thought the EP73 was not very good before, I'm sure it's much improved. I'd be interested if they went and did a new version of the Arp 2600.

I own quite a few Arturia synths as well as all their fx.
399e offer in my account. I'm not going to oblige tbh.

Not only have I not been able to download, the ASC performed a "self-update" by... deleting itselfbadblocks wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 11:09 pm Has anyone managed to download the new and updated synths? I purchased the update several hours ago but ASC still seems to be borked.

Nice, the 'self-licking ice cream cone' software deployment model. I just managed to get everything updated, so hopefully things are starting to come back online.dumbledog wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 11:30 pmNot only have I not been able to download, the ASC performed a "self-update" by... deleting itselfbadblocks wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 11:09 pm Has anyone managed to download the new and updated synths? Updates installed and activated. I downloaded the updated install files directly from the Arturia website, including the update to the Arturia Software Center.
