I've got a 150bpm vocal sample, but my project is around 120bpm...?

I like a vocal sample. Its 150bpm, doesn't sound like it would fit a song that quick, but thats what it says on the tin.

Is there any reasonable way of fitting this thing into a 120bpm project?
Changing the 150bpm rate to 120bpm would change the pitch too much, right? A 5 or 10 bpm, Ok, not much difference, but this is 30bpm difference.

Or I guess I could chop it up. Ugh. :s

timestrech it (Live, Acid, etc do that automatically) ... or cut it up.
Which DAW are you using?

Reaper. I think 30bpm might be too much of a stretch.
I might have to resort to a cut up : s

Could you speed the track up so the timestretch is less severe?
I think I'd do the cutup. Map 'em in a sampler and play them in .. more fun :ud:
