Nothing has been changed in preset settings since v2.9.8. But maybe something else is generating DC offsetDasheesh wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 4:43 pm but there is a lot of reverb pops going on in presets. maybe the volume is a little louder or something. i will play with it again later, but i need sleep now.
SynthMaster v2.9.9 RC (Rev 10237) released: NOT a minor update though! ;)

i didn´t took a preset. simply turn a layer to mono -legato and turn up the glide button. no glide happens.

Guys, looks like portamento knob was broken in build 10158. I fixed the portamento issue and now continuing A/B testing.

well, the popping i'm hearing on some presets were also pushing into the red on the meters. i usually turn off internal fx and use external ones.. so maybe i just never noticed it before. some of the presets can be a little loud.

Hello, thanks for the update! There's still an issue with SynthMaster making a "clicking" noise (when keys are pressed) on long release mono sounds, without legato being activated.kv331 wrote: Mon Dec 07, 2020 8:24 pm Hi guys,
Thanks for your patience. I just released a new update (Rev 10158)
Here are the fixes in this build:
1. FIX: When a sample is playing at high speeds (phase increment > loop length), SynthMaster crashes
2. FIX: Older presets that use more than one Step/Glide LFOs are not loaded correctly
3. FIX: When older presets are loaded, waveforms might not load, resulting in blank display+silent sound
4. FIX: When mseg envelope length is zero, SynthMaster might crash
5. FIX: When recording arp steps, SynthMaster freezes
6. FIX: SynthMaster should validate control value changes for loop start/end parameters
7. FIX: SynthMaster might crash when user clicks on "Forgot Serial Number" button during activation
8. FIX: LFO/Sequencer phase/position is not reset correctly in Mono+Legato mode
9. FIX: XY View control doesn't work correctly
10.FIX: SynthMaster 2.9.9 Beta doesn't save basic waveforms (sine, triangle, square, sawtooth, pulse)
11.FIX: Textbox colors are incorrect when editing
There are also improvements/new features:
1. Added keyboard input to enable playing notes via QWERT keyboard
2. Modulation source buttons are now highligted to indicate that they have modulation sources
3. Improved workflow for sample import.
4. Uploaded presets submitted by Track Contest 2020 contestants to Public User Library

Revision numbers could be slightly different on Win/Mac. Everything is up to day on the server, don't worry.atya wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 1:39 pm I just downloaded the update from the user area 15 mins. ago and it still says REV 10157.

That fixed item #8 is irrelevant to your issue. I will look into those clicking issues.DocShay wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 1:03 pm Hello, thanks for the update! Speaking of which, I'm introducing the trigger modes in SM1 in SM2 as well in the next update (Retrigger, Legato and Resume). Resume will be the default setting, and in resume mode, no clicks should occur.

^^^ i believe this will fix the issue of popping and clicking. i think it's stealing polyphony on some longer release times. i am able to up to more extreme voices, and it seems to solve the issue for me.

Hi guys. We're almost done! Here's SynthMaster 2.9.9 Release Candidate (Rev 10237):
New Features:
1. Layers now have 3 different voice trigger modes: Retrigger, Legato and Resume (default = Resume)
2. Layers now have different note priority settings for voice stealing (default = Last Note Priority)
3. Layers now have a clip level parameter between 0 dB-20 dB (default = 20 dB)
4. SynthMaster now has 3 types of MIDI Input modes: Omni, MPE and Multi. MIDI Input can be at the preset level or can be set globally. MPE implementation in SynthMaster is now much better, Channel 1 is Master Channel as per the MPE standard.
5. The polyphony is now per layer -> So each layer can have up to 64 voices running. This is really handy when you turn on global unison in a layer. Also, there's a global polyphony parameter now, which can override preset polyphony. This might be useful while tracking in real-time.
6. When built-in QWERT keyboard is activated, piano key control displays keys mapped to notes
7. Satyatunes Tranquil Blue skin is updated. I personally loved this new look.
8. There's now a new Effect called FILTERBANK. It is constructed from ZDF Ladder filter, there are 8 parallel bands you can mix to create nice sounds! Each band type can be: Off, LP12, LP24, LP36, LP48, BP12, BP24, HP12, HP24.
Bug fixes:
1. Glide parameter is set to zero in Mono mode (introduced in previous beta)
2. In "Mono" trigger node, LFO/Sequencer envelopes don't receive Note Off message when mono gate changes state from On to Off
3. Mod Matrix Previous/Next page buttons not working for some skins
4. XYView control is not drawn with colors defined in the GUI Editor
5. When osc wavetable view loads a wavetable, remaining waveforms should be unloaded
6. On MacOS, presets downloaded from public user library are displayed under "Local" category
Once I fix some remaining issues and update the user manual, I'm planning to release on Friday if no showstoppers appear.
Happy holidays everyone!
Bulent

Thanks Bulent for the update.zvenx wrote: Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:33 pm Most welcome. Tried a few other patches that I recall had issues with the previous build.
They all are fine....
There is one patch, FX Adriatique UK (I only noticed it because it is one of the few that for whatever reason still uses the old Favourite Tag from the Column you long ago removed it from)... I dont' recall what this patch originally sounded but if you press it for a short note and take your finger off, there is almost like a thunderous clap on release velocity.. (if anyone tries it please do not try it with headphones and turn your speaker down first please, it really is loud..... if you hold it for longer it is fine, but like quarter note or shorter there is a loud clap... Is this normal?

Also please dont' forget another issue I had emailed you about which is sadly still there.
On mac but not pc, syncing to cloud gets stuck on third party banks.
For which I eventually have to force quit Cubase.
