We recorded four pans:


- a cello pan,

- a double alto pan, and

- two soprano pans


all playing octave tremolos. This is when you play the same note, an octave apart, in quick succession.


When you spread this across a keyboard, add some reverb and start playing chords, you get a monsoon of lush textures and a tropical rainstorm of nanoscopic details that beautifully weave in and out.
