I don't even know if I can play it or not. I did get sounds, even melodies out of a ney though... which I guess is pretty hard without someone actually teaching you.
excuse me as I'm just bored, curios and suffering from creative constipation as usual.
EDIT: JUST GOT IT YESTERDAY...

You *must* absolutely own a duduk.
If you don't know it, the first time a sound will come out (and it will be hard, believe me...), you'll be shocked by its feel...
Only one tip: water, water, water...

Definately! Even if you can't play it you'll have a laugh trying. I own so many instruments that I cant even begin to play... f**k it they look pretty!tuz wrote:I don't even know if I can play it or not. Ok, so these guys have one for $40, which I'll gladly spend on a toy, and one for $175, which would require a lot more thought.
Can anyone say "stay away from the cheap one", or is the other one only for people who are really serious?
I mean, I play recorder, and Yamaha plastic recorders for $30 are almost as good as my $400 wooden one, so it is conceivable.
