it will be released "somewhere in 2005" according to the home page, but i can smell that perfume of the vaporware

btw you should also check http://www.cockslap.de
maybe 2005 will be the year of the buzz clones ? :)

Is there a wrapper so the featherweight Buzz machines can be used in VST or DX environments? I know the other way around is there, and FruityLoops can use the Buzz machines, but a Buzz2Vst wrapper would be nice...

that's the graal of former buzz users
I know that there is already buzz wrappers, but they're not publicly released because of the buzz license. People were used to think that to use buzz machines in another environment than the original buzz, you have to pay a license fee to the buzz author (oskari).
But I'm not sure of this (see cockslap page, faq, question about the buzz license. If it is right, I don't see any reason to not release a buzz vst wrapper).

check it out

it IS possible to use buzz as a VST instrument apparently, but I have had no luck with it. you could try IRCing to efnet and logging into the #buzz room for assistance.

good luck!

this page is here for ages. It's just fake, or a joke, or vaporware, but it will just doesn't work.
On the same page it is written :

"Is Buzz 2 still being developed? When is it ready?

Yes. No comment."

This demonstrate how seriously you should take this wrapper, believe me

Buzzle's being developed by HotKey as a Buzz replacement. He raised 1500 euros to buy the Buzz machine handling code and if it ever does get finished it'll compare very favourably with Buzz itself.

Other editors in the works to replace Buzz include Mu-Cockslap and another project which keeps changing its name by the gent who coded the Buzz Overloader system.

btw there is nothing to expect from buzzle or "cockslap" or any other buzz clone before the next year ... if we're _very_ lucky !
So for the moment it seems that we must continue to use the same old buzz. But there has been many changes since 2 years, thanx to the overloader. In particular, there is screamwaver, many tutorials by nool (http://www.noolmusic.com) that is doing for buzz what nicfit has done (and is doing) for ext, and recently the pulsar synth/fx from btdsys that is just excellent.
Oh and there is also a slicer (LiveSlice from Ohm) that is just excellent also, and with a nice gui :)))
