I don't use Lion at all but just tested it in Live 10 on a mac, and the preset behaviour you describe happens. Anyone else experiencing this? It is quite an issue if it is widespreadD Halgren wrote: Sat Dec 05, 2020 11:48 pm Is anyone having problems with Lion reverting to the default preset when opening a saved project? Thanks for testing this. Can you please flag it with PA's support. They are saying they can't reproduce it, and acting like they haven't heard of it. There is another guy in the Bitwig forum that confirmed it also, and he's on Windows, and using an older version of Lion.leeleema wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 11:16 pmI don't use Lion at all but just tested it in Live 10 on a mac, and the preset behaviour you describe happens. Thanks for your answer. Just another case of RTFM. Just by browsing the manual I didn’t find the right words.Inside Lion you assign it's parameters to the Macro Knobs. Then you assign CC or automate those Macros from your DAW.

Hey! We sent in a patch for this 2-3 weeks ago. PA should send you the beta build that fixes this issue. Sorry for the regression. We needed to update JUCE to fix a different bug, and that one slid in. Hopefully it will be publicly released soon.D Halgren wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 3:14 pmCheers brother!leeleema wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:20 amNo problem, already doneD Halgren wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:41 amThanks for testing this. Great! PA said they couldn't reproduce it. Thanks for the information. Hopefully they send me a patch soon. Can you confirm that it is affecting Triad too?thelizard wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 3:28 pmHey! We sent in a patch for this 2-3 weeks ago. PA should send you the beta build that fixes this issue. I have not heard any word of it affecting BYOME or Triad. The bug occurred in our code for constructing the oscillator drop-down box. Previously, the processor would then select the oscillator from the save state, but a change in threading caused the editor to override it.

This is the behavior I am experiencing.thelizard wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 3:42 pm I have not heard any word of it affecting BYOME or Triad. I open the project it is on the Default preset instead of what I saved with. As soon as I click the header to change it back, it says the correct preset name, but doesn't change any of the modules. Even stranger, Triad does the same thing, but it actually is the right preset, it just says Default in the header till I click it. All the modules are correct, though.

I have a Block M, connecting the Roli controller module, just changes the Block M into an XY pad, and that kinda sucks because it wont play notes. Is Lion MPE enabled otherwise without the module in Lion?

Yep! The Block Modulator is only needed if you want to use the Block as a modulation source. To use MPE, just make sure that you have the MIDI mode set to MPE (bottom left). To add MPE modulation, the MIDI Input modulator that is present on every LION patch has MPE outputs.vertibration wrote: Mon Dec 14, 2020 12:15 am I have a Block M, connecting the Roli controller module, just changes the Block M into an XY pad, and that kinda sucks because it wont play notes. Yeah it has a similar approach to control assignment to MassiveX. There’s pros and cons to doing in this way. Personally I don’t mind this type of approach, though.zoidkirb wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 9:58 pmInside Lion you assign it's parameters to the Macro Knobs. There’s no “learn” word in the manual.

PA support are worse than useless when it comes to fixing anything. I've been having issues with the VST3 versions of several of their plugins not displaying correctly. They confirmed they could reproduce the bug and would sort it. To date they have mailed me 16 times saying the bug was fixed. It's not fixed .. and now they are telling me the issue is my DAW (Live 10) not their plugins.D Halgren wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:41 am Can you please flag it with PA's support.
