Bazille 1.1.1

Bazille has been updated for Mac and PC (Linux coming soon we hope). Key improvements in Bazille version 1.1.1 include:
  • macOS 11 “Big Sur” compatibility
  • full VST3 support
  • new preset browser
  • factory content polished and tagged, 180+ new presets
  • drag & drop soundset installation
Here's a comprehensive list of changes:

This update is free for existing users. To update, simply download and install. On Win, check the special notes in the Release Notes above. Note that 32-bit support for macOS has ended in favour of Big Sur compatibility and better performance.

The Bazille Cookbook

A 280+ patch soundset plus the ultimate compendium of Bazille knowledge, all cooked up and served hot by our very own Howard Scarr. Apart from describing techniques used in each and every patch in the soundset, the 118-page book (PDF) is also stuffed with interesting tips and little experiments. This combination of soundset and book should keep Bazille fans engaged and exploring for a very long time.

Download the full list of presets and Read Me. (yes, this is the actual Cookbook PDF, which should be mouthwatering enough for you to order the dishes we deliver home to you when you buy the soundset)

Requires Bazille 1.1.1 (see above) and is available for 39€ from here:

That Read me :o

Is that the Readme you linked to or the actual cookbook itself sans presets? I figured that would only be available to people who purchase it.

It sounds like from the description it's meant to be a patch list but you're currently linking to the full 118-page book.

Congrats! I love the pictures of Howard through out! Can't wait to play with the patches while reading through.
I think I first met Bazille like 12 years ago, possibly around this time. At this point it's the only third-party soft synth I use (Bitwig's Grid being the only other virtual instrument) and it certainly holds it's own among the other instruments in my studio. Your team created something really special with this one. I hope to keep using it for a long time.

It's the actual Cookbook. People who read The Bazille Cookbook PDF without having access to the corresponding presets will be sorely tempted. That's the plan, anyway... let's see! 8)

(I'll ask someone to fix the text in that link - should say "Download the book")

Nice, good read and the perfect stuff we need right now during the new Xmas lockdown isolation. Hopefully the my forth coming sonic dishes will become better tasting than the usual spaghetti mess I made. Congrats and thanks Howard!

This is great news. I just sent out emails to my Gumroad customers to let them know that Equinox has indeed been updated and also the patches are now tagged. Just wanted to put that out there since people might ask about it. Check your spam folders, it might have ended up in there.

Anyhoo.....VERY pumped for the Cookbook. Man, have I been waiting FOR-EV-VERRR to get my hands on it. I know what I'll be doing tonight! :phones:  :tu:

What a day!
I am soooo looking forward to the Linux version.
But hey, I'll read the cookbook anyway and be well prepared.
