No, we can't do that. For us Group Buys are reserved for either products that are about to be discontinued or products that are put together differently than what we have available in the retail market. The reason for this is because it would be unfair to sell it for less than stores can (even if it is a group buy). If it is a product the store no longer carries or never carried then it is a different situation. In fact, the group buy has made it possible to release some products that might not normally be released by us (such as the Squids Tron Collection complete with all kinds of nutty outtakes that most of the group buyers loved).
So, this can be an opportunity to do things like Project 5 support, SoundFont 2, specialized ST libraries, Battery/DR008 drum machine libraries or PC-only products (which we normally wouldn't release because everything we do commercially is dual platform... and often muiltiformat!!!). We have all kinds of specialty products that you guys will have a chance to get and the more that buy it the cheaper it will be (the more that buy it the more justified business supporting its creation too). So, this can be really cool, particularly for more esoteric products.
Sonik Synth 2, however, is a universally compatible plug-in with sounds that should have mass appeal big time. If by chance you are a Sonic Synth 1 user there is a limited time discounted upgrade you can get from us. This is probably the closest thing to a "group buy" type deal! (just have to be part of the GROUP that bought SS1 while you had the chance... discontinued now). Of course, the crossgrade is the same price for SampleTank 2 XL owners (yet another benefit to being an ST2 XL owner... I told you guys it would be worth it!).
