im definitely adding something similar.
for stereo fx, using two full outs on the final output, uses them up very quickly.
one stereo pair out, do the mixing as you say, in the modular :tu:
that one you grabbed looks pretty cool 8)

i will still keep the current out puts too, for the reasons mentioned above and the odd mono out too :)

The Cosmix is a great choice, vastly superior sound/mixing quality-wise to the combo modules
I was using before, and those combo modules are still great feeding into it. Highly recommended :tu:

btw: look for a restock on this around February apparently a new batch is in the work currently.

Vurt posted that in the new 2021 gear thread, but I'm in the middle of deciding which cables I want to order for December 2020. This will probably be my last gear acquisition for 2020.

Maybe... :hihi:

Blades arrived and it's brilliant :) Glad I didn't have to decide between "the new thing from Mutable Instruments" and "an analog complex oscillator" like I was thinking about, because it's both. And I'm also glad I have no regrets about going for the A-110-4, because phase modulation on this sounds quite a bit different from PM on any digital oscillator I've heard and yet awesome :)

In serial configuration the drive-filter-drive-filter can get NASTY too. If I were making acid or industrial I'd probably want a second Blades.

So far, the ThreeTom MS-22 is the best sounding filter I've encountered in eurorack imho. Though it's not a smooth and pretty filter. These should be available assembled outside of the EU in the coming year for us yanks.

The Revolver is here and my dual channel, all tube signal chain is complete.

Sounds amazing on drum mixes. I can't wait to use this setup with my C414s for an acoustic guitar session.

That looks NICE!

It's gorgeous! ...with the big ass transformers and steel chassis, it weighs about 25lbs. :phew:

The law of sod being what it is, after sending IK an email to cancel my Uno Drum order it turns up on my doorstep today.
So, it's fun and while a tad limited - you can't load your own samples or output multi channel audio or send drum MIDI on discrete channels - it does sound pretty good and as the first hands on drum machine I've owned there is something in being able to tweak sounds directly instantly without needing to do a load of mapping first. I think all it's done really is set me up to want something bigger and better later, but it's a fine enough thing in its own right for now. For the first time I feel I actually could make something with just my hardware without needing to multi-track everything or pad it out with soft synths.

Are you safe?

I've largely shut things down since March. The pandemic has jacked up used prices, so I've decided to sit things out and save up for later. I haven't bought any Eurorack modules since March, and have only purchased a few things since:

A couple 8-channel MIDI snake cables
Z-Systems Z-8.8a (bidirectional ADAT to 4x SPDIF converter)
RME ARC USB (hardware volume/monitor controller for my RME Digiface USB)
FF Pro-L2 & Pro-C2 upgrades
Arturia Jup-8 V4 upgrade

Looking for a digital patchbay to switch in and out some of my digital gear for maximum flexibility (ie I don't need a DAT deck connected all the time). Otherwise, I'm saving up for a lot of stuff for next year.

Mazzatron has their AC coupler ready so I went ahead and ordered one.

Also since my workplace gave Amazon gift cards for Christmas, I bought myself a Logitech G29 racing wheel. I kind of wonder if there's a way to translate the pedals to MIDI CC! Hit the gas to speed up an LFO, the brake to slow down a tape delay plugin... :hihi:

I have an old MIDIMan Digipatch 12x6. Last I checked it was in good shape and working. I'll PM you if I can find it.

What sort of I/O does it have? I have a mixed lot of digital connections, though info have some CO2 & CO3 format converters I could use if I had to.

It has optical and coax (RCA) S/PDiF connections and MIDI control of patching.
