Anyone had problems with Steinberg support? I wait almost 3 weeks for answer, and can't use my purchased software. Nothing. Silence. I was hoping that thi is high quality developer so they should somehow answer

It happens that they don't reply for weeks, and, especially in Covid-19 times, it's likely that you have to wait a bit longer even.
I don't thinkt it's cool either. NI's support is much faster and more responsive, for example.

Yes, that's perfectly normal for them. If you have a problem with Spectralayers, you could ask Magix' support

Yes, Magix bought Spectralayers, Vegas, Sound Forge and Acid from Sony 5(?) years ago. And sold Spectralayers last year to Steinberg.WasteLand wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 5:23 amnope, spectralayers is made by robin lobel. it was first under sony, then magix, now steinberg.

without going into detail I had incredibly good support from them in the past. Like way above average.

There is a long waiting time for tickets , yes. I have been waiting for 5 weeks before corona, i had one ticket with halion 6 and one ticket with cubase pro 10, both waited very long and both problems not solved. In other forum the users also said , they wait very long (several weeks...) and after asking again where is my answer they replied "try to reinstall...", which didnt help. only telephone support is way faster but only 2 hours open 10 o'clock in the morning monday, tuesday , wednesday, friday and thursday in the afternoon 3 hours in germany afaik. via telephone no late or weekend support ? Dont know how it is on international sites.matrixplan wrote: Tue Dec 15, 2020 9:19 pm Anyone had problems with Steinberg support? So far for me, they are the worst with the non-help. Won't buy anything else from them.

I understand that. Still, they have worked with me and devs and solved several HUGE issues with compatibility. A few years ago, Tone2 plugs were not playing right. Same with MusicLab. Steinberg contacted me, then the devs, and fixes were issued within a few days.
