Got it.
My Ampeg is now showing up in CS but not in AT. I'll be patient but I'm a bassist, gimme back my main packs!

Good stuff. Always thought that AT did the metel/rokk stuff well, but it always disappointed me on the question of prime importance -i.e. can it do the jangle properly, with the correct amount of chiming and fizz?
Nice now. Tried the Copper amp thingy, and it made the Shitenbacker Mk1 12 string sound like a million dollars (ok, like £200 rather than the £100 I paid for it...).
That sorted, I shall plug in one of my (ahem..) 'rock axes' later on for a bit of chug and widdle (easy now...) action.

Initial thoughts after 30 minutes....this is pretty damn good!
Sounds great, lovely resizable interface and I can hide stuff I don't own easily.
However....they really need to make the 'hide gear I don't own' button remember the selection (or put it in preferences) so they I don't have to press it every single time I load A5

First impressions are good, but as far as I can tell MIDI seems to be broken when using in Ableton. I can control Amplitube 4 just fine with my foot pedal controller but 5 doesn't detect anything.
Edit: The issue seems to only affect the VST3 version

Same issue with some gear pieces not unlocking in AT5 (example Orange Tiny Terror). Shows as unlocked in AT4, but not in AT5. Will wait some and then try the restore gear from custom shop again.

And here we go.....
Installed the Product Manager on my test computer and got this:
The Product Manager and AT 5 CS seem to be functioning but no Custom Shop.
Then when loading AT 5 CS for the first time I got the following expected message but clicking on OK did not open the PM. Perhaps that's because of the above error.
After installing the PM and AT 5CS I got this:
It's just a product manager and a single plugin so not sure why IK needs to get its hooks so far in to our systems that a reboot is required.
So meh I'm not going to bother installing AT5 on my studio computer. I'll just leave my TRacks5, Sampletank, and Syntronik installs intact on the old license manager at least until there is a good reason to install the new Product Manager. So I'm out.......

stand alone is still no go. Just doesn't pass audio at all. I tried windows and direct, but it simply doesn't sync up. I also get the connection dialog every time i open stand alone even though the values are set. So it seems it doesn't think it is setup even though it is.

My impressions thus far. The resizable GUI is great. It has not translated well for the Fulltone collection which I use a lot.
The new racks setup I am not a fan of either. It looks like Mixbox -- nothing is horizontal anymore. (Maybe I need to get used to it.) I am also finding weird limitations in SE version. I need to confirm they are limitations and not just that I am not seeing the obvious settings that needs to get clicked as the GUI had changed a lot since AT 4.
I still need to play around with it some more.

I'm not sure what you mean here. It has a summing mixer that looks mixbox. But it has racks before and after that mixer that look like ST4 "500" format boxes. It's completely horizontal instead of the old vertical.telecode wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 4:47 pm The new racks setup I am not a fan of. It looks like Mixbox -- nothing is horizontal.
