These are seriously great effects. Immediately useful. A little goes a long way on the Vintagizer, and Chorus X is crazy flexible, yet the controls and visual feedback make it so simple to dial in and understand.

Thanks a lot Parawave for the update, really enjoying those vintage sounds I can get!
You could try modulating the noise or mix knob with the key released control for an abrupt stop or an envelope for smoother stop in those noise sounds produced from vintagizer effect.DanielPL wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:50 pm I'm on Live 10.1.30, after trying new Vintagizer I've just discovered it doesn't stop generating noise when audio is stopped. It happens either while using it as FX module or while generating sounds inside Rapid itself. Disabling layer or plugin and reenabling it again stops that noise. Am I missing something?

Is there a way to search amongst favourite patches only?
I note the last column does show whether the patch is favourited or not, but it doesn't allow you to sort that way (that is show favourite only altogether at the top or all together at the bottom.

But of course now I am curious..... Why do people like noise when their DAW is not even 'moving', that is it is in stop or pause mode.

Being able to load patches per layer is a game changer for me and now makes this synth so much more useful for building massive sounding patches (stuff I used to do in Omnisphere mainly).
Remember if the single loaded layers doesn't make a sound it may have been part of a multilayer patch previously and and may need directing to 'master' (just press the little master button in FX area)

Hey guys,
thanks for the feedback. To stop the noise of the Vintagizer, just press the stop button again in your DAW. I don't know if every DAW can do that but I developed the FX and debugged it in FL Studio. If it is not working, I can try to find another solution but I thought that the noise should play ad long as the noise wheel has a value.
In my cases I build songs and want the Vintagizer effects on specific parts. Then I automate the mix to bring that fx in an out. That was my intention.

Is anyone getting same behaviour? Can anyone reproduce it?accessdune3 wrote: Wed Dec 16, 2020 7:41 am Thank you for this amazing update.
But i have a question, how to load your own presets (that rapid saves in fox) in to layers?
Also I have found a strange bug. If I use 4 layers separated to different midi outputs (fl studio 20.all is fine and good. But when I use 5th layer with separate midi output (it can even be muted ) first midi channels set to layer 1 & 2 do not play at the same time. I thought Rapid has a limit on voices but i tested that by turning off the unison on silenced layers and still doesn't play unless I do not play the 5th layer which can be just init patch with 1 oscillator.
This layer loading thing is amazing with high potential. I can see myself building massive patch combinations that I can use for separate parts like one part for chords and another for top or bottom.

I am becoming more convinced that taking out the one click mode was a mistake.
Let me try to explain why.
So we are double clicking, and I am going thru the patches I have to favourite them.
But I am in double click mode... but favourites need one clicks.
I am finding, that after double clicking to load a patch, I then sometimes double click to favourite one which in essence does nothing as the second click unfavourites it.
my two cents.
