Hay.
So there are some songs i like, mainly ambient. There is some synth chords there that i would like to find out what they are. Am i right in thinking that this kinda does that: https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/h ... ngkey-mk3/
Other examples?
Thanks in advance.

I'm a pretty solid musician, but still use this sometimes. It's really for figuring the overall key, but it does read the chords that are happening.

Can use such things as deCoda from zplane which is new. Old way was to use "Transcribe!" app.
It is not free and also does not have perfect accuracy.

Good free option is to use MAnalyzer from Melda Production Free Pack inside your DAW.
It has a keyboard overlay and gives exact pitch when hovering inside the window, tho there is guesswork to determine harmonics from fundamental pitch if your ears are not trained.

Price for zplane deCoda is similar to the upgrade of the Melda Free Pack, tho you can have the free pack and use it now for no money.

A free option is Chordino as a plugin to Audacity or Sonic Visualizer.
