The "Loop point" is actually the position of the Phase control (bottom slider). It's not locked to a specific point.

That'll probably clear up some confusion on the other modes too. For example, sustain envelope was probably only triggering on release because the phase was set to zero, the far left.

That is confusing... then Phase Loop would be a better name and then don't have an LFO Point set the phase position, just snap the phase to dividers while dragging. That would be faster and less convoluted.

yes - correct

which can also be the destination of a modulator
f.e.: another LFO, which's phase again can be modulated by yet another modulator

I can´t find a way to further edit wavetables created with the Text to WT function. Everything is greyed out in the editor.

Mod Remap - switching back and forth to change the LFO´s is not possible. You have to select a preset from the browser manually.

I don't think it's possible, there are some other limitations too, but I can't remember off hand.

Thanks, this is really strange.
I noticed the same behaviour when I select a wavetable from the preset browser.
Nothing can be edited unless I use a new wavetable from scratch. This can´t be intended

If you add a modifier like the Slew Limiter or Wave Folder you can change the sound of a TTWT.

But the Wave does stay greyed out.

I think I've got it figured out a bit. If you INIT a patch the WT is set to Wave Source. If you import a WT, some of them are set to Line Source or Audio File Source.

If you create a WT that is set to Wave Source and save it when you load it back in you can still edit it as before since it's still a Wave Source.

So it appears that whatever Source you use will determine how the WT can be edited when you load it back up again. Each Source has it's own editing capabilities.

That´s interesting, thanks for sharing!

It seems that all included wavetables have been generated by importing audio files, with the exception of a few basic factory ones. That is the reason why they are not editable, which is not very convenient. In Serum or similar instruments with an editor, imported wavetables can always be re-edited.
Do you know where I can download the manual? I couldn´t find it online

They are editable within the constraints of the Source type.

I think the point of Vital's Wavetable Editor is to inspire you to make your own WTs.

Be handy if there was a resynthesize to editable wavetable option.

Why not ? You have access since you have a Vital account. Matt is much more active there. You can mark posts as Feature Requests or Bug Reports etc. People are sharing a lot of presets there as well.
