That's a good question... 400 more pre-mapped patches would add quite a bit of value for me as a confirmed touche fan...
SLiC wrote: Thu Dec 17, 2020 9:19 pm I think I will wait until I can demo it.
Are all 400 patches pre mapped for the touché?

Post

There really is no demo
There is unfortunately no demo version at the moment but maybe we'll think about it, we well noted your request.

I hope i answered your questions, do not hesitate if you have any other.

I had been looking forward to Noisy assuming that it must be MPE capable. Never entered my mind that it wouldn't be. Oh well... Hehe, I don't mind not buying something!

Post

I bet it'll be updated with MPE when they release there new MPE keyboard.

As a new Touché SE owner I am interested, I am very impressed by that controller because of their top notch sound design delivered with Lié. But I have to do my own sound design, as the UVI workstation, the base of their sound collection does not support MPE. And of course I want to enhance my LinnStrument and play a real vibrato not a fake one. (For vibrato the Touché isn‘t really good at though its possible...)
The price is too high and any synth with comb filters could be used to create similar results. Though having three resonances in one instrument is something...
I got a coupon with my touché, but I can‘t combine it with the 40% coupon...

Does anybody uses their MPE sound collections without having Falcon? Do they deliver MPE in the UVI workstation and in Lié? Just curious...

Post

Decent sounding synth, but that pricetag is steep for me.

I won't buy it personally without being able to demo.....and I own a Touché and have an Osmose on order....

I have watched the video with the Touché being used on pre-sets, its probably just mapped to the software so it does the same thing to all pre-sets (depending on how the pre-set is mapped). Really frustrating not being able to demo.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

14-day return policy, I presume.

''Manipulate any preset via four distinct dimensions of sound design, all of which can be used on their own, or combined seamlessly with each other. Go further by mixing the dimensions of two different pre-sets, thanks to the layering system that allows endless possibilities of sonic creation.''

Sounds like it was pretty much built for Touché from the ground up...maybe I will log in and see if we I get a better price!

I assume no one here has bought it yet?

I asked them that and something else sharing the answer here:
>> Is there some money back guarantee then? Suppose i don’t like it or it doesn’t work well on my system?

Yes, 30 days

>>Also what is your copy protection. Does it come with at least two authorisations? I have a mac and a dual pc system that i try to keep the same as possible so I can start projects on one and continue on the other.

Yes you can activate 3 times your licence on 3 different machines

Is it free?

It's tempting, but comb filters, hmmm… To me, they never seemed to offer that much tonal variety – they still sound like delays – unless one goes deeper into inharmonicity, which this synth does not offer at all.
The ease of use though is very inviting. MIDI slew on each mod-destination is yes please.

So who is going to volunteer to be the guinea pig? :)

Do you know how this differs from the Plasmonic approach?
Do they also use comb filters but with the inharmonicity you mention?
