Appreciate the tip...

KVR is enough. I don't want to keep track of other forums.

Well that's the place to make your feature requests. Here you're just wishing into the wind.

Agreed a manual would be nice but on the other hand not having one encourages (forces) one to explore and learn on the fly. 8)

I'm sure this has been mentioned before here but I did see a message on the Vital forum that said a manual is on the way soon. It's being worked on as we speak but due to the depth of the synth, I imagine the manual is taking a while to get out.

I think it would be a valuable resource to have, despite how user friendly Vital is :)

Anyone else not able to get enough? I haven't been this engrossed with a synth since my first one -- the CZ1...

Everything about this synth from sound to interface is just so inviting and intuitive -- can't stop toying with it... Not getting enough done!!
Have you tried Vital?

I lost interest a couple of weeks ago. At first I thought I might find a few uses for it but I was surprised at how quickly I couldn't be arsed any more. OTOH, I only bought Adam Szabo's JP6K two days ago and I've already used it in for four parts in three different songs. I bought Viper at the same time but, like Vital, I've hardly touched it. I think what that tells me is I am much more interested in filters than oscillators.

If you like to listen to avoid being bored ... or get inspiration for the next rant battle: My Entry to the current OneSynthChallenge@KVR featuring Vital.

All sounds come from Vital. All Patches created by myself. Only the Basedrum is the preset from the free edition of vital which I tweaked to my liking.
It's actually 29 Vitals in Bitwig 3.3.1 with lots of Bitwig on board FX and a few commercial FX, i.e. MStereoProcessor, MSpectralDynamics and MTurboReverb.

Maybe you should spend/investigate some more time concerning the input gain/drive of ( well modelled analogue ) filters and how they behave , especially the resonance .
It would save you a lot of hassle and posting

I like your composition and arrangement here. But this track with 29 layered Vitals merely confirms my feelings about it. Its got a character that's not to my liking. If you made the exact same track with instances of U-he Hive or Viper it would sound better in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure if he posted that in a UHE forum stating that composition was 29 layers of a mix with Hive and Viper... ya you know exactly what comes next.

Sounded good Peter -- I'm still waiting for the 'one patch challenge', feel that would be a superior 'contest' in terms of creativity, musicality, and synth knowledge.

really, tho, why would anyone (generally) do this? the whole idea of having multiple synth plugins is... using what works best for a part. and for what it excels at, am enjoying using vital.

The 29 instances does not mean they are all at work at the same time. The words is for instance already uses 5 instances. Each word one instance, because I wanted to tweak each word individually ... then I have used two snares that are another two. Then there is a subtle kind of a riser sound and the same sound reversed ... another two. And all over sudden I had that many vitals in my project ;-)
