At some point I do want to revisit the JP8080 again and start from scratch and then it will be much better.
I had been hanging onto my JP-8080 for the unique supersaw oscillator but since buying your JP6K and comparing, i finally let it go. :)

An update sounds amazing. The one thing i did notice with JP6K vs 8080 was the difference in upper and lower settings. On the 8080 it was like having 2 synths stacked on top and 6K is just 2 oscillators with the same LFO, Filter etc

I would certainly pay for an expanded v2 when you have time to create it :)

I feel the need to give this thing another push. Since I bought it last month it has very quickly become both my go-to synth and my most used instrument. The strings it can do sound absolutely amazing and the basslines I've managed to get out of it are simply unbeatable. It's like all the things I like about DUNE and Wasp distilled into one low CPU, easy to use instrument that I can't believe I didn't know about for almost a decade. It is absolutely superb and for $29 is the bargain of the century.

Depends on the music style, but in my case - new New Wave - JP6K is the burner. My first VST which wasn't freeware and unfortunately slipped backwards. This track is from 2015 andJP6K only (plus a few drum samples)
