12 is fine if SSE is used (since it's a multiple of 4), but if SSE+AVX used you need multiples of 8, is my understanding. And TAL doesn't use AVX AFAIK.

I know it's a personal thing, but It's IMO miles ahead of anything I heard from Vital, for the sake of comparison. As all TAL synths it just sounds like coming from something solid, real

Add him as a foe and you won’t see his posts. The comparison to Vital is a bit apples and oranges. Vital is a wavetable synth with very different strengths than a Jupiter-8 emulation. You could just as easily say J-8 is awful at doing some of the things Vital really excels at. Extreme example: I don’t think J-8 does a convincing Hammond and Leslie but that’s not what it is. A more valid comparison would be comparing J-8 to other classic VA’s or more specifically Jupiter emulations (or the hardware of course). If you’re going to compare, makes more sense to compare Vital to things like Hive, Serum, Dune.
