Just OUT!
Very nice plugin but at incredibly high CPU. Uses x2 of N4 Acustica Plugin. 100% wet lock mode wouldve been nice to have as well.
https://babyaud.io/spaced-out-plugin/
Sounds really nice and features are just perfect though
Intro Price $39 instead of $69 (no mention of until when)

I played around with it for about an hour in my project.
First off, the sound quality is stunning. Usually reverbs with phasers, flangers and choruses have a poor sound quality being a onestop-shop but this one sounds really lush.
There are a few things I’d like to see;
- Wet only lock button (It’s a must for presets on a send... also if I move the plugin to send from insert, it’s quite tricky to keep the delay & ratio the same while reducing dry signal.
- Output for reverb to gain match the delay or dry signal
- Feed delay to reverb, I thought thats what it did but these are two parrallel signals.
- Ability to click on XY pad to move the cursor instead of having to drag it.
- Ctrl(or some other) + drag on XY pad to only move horizontally or vertically. Many times I wanted to just reduce reverb length and but it’s very sensitive so the fx value also changes
- Speed Knob for delay motion mode. It’s too fast for my taste.
The CPU consumption and lack of wet lock makes me think twice about buying this plugin. Otherwise it’s such a nice concept!

wet only lock button, or at least have the wet/dry mix stay put if you change presets with the thing up (if it doesn't do that)...that is a major annoyance when you have to go back and change it every time.

Yeah I’m gonna go save all the presets again wet 100%.. I’m a bit OCD like that

Looks very nice as well, really cool, and the demos sound good. Too bad about the performance issues... need to try it myself I suppose.

Really? It uses more than x2 of sonsig here. Are you using AU?DJErmac wrote: Sat Dec 19, 2020 12:38 am Indeed it needs a lot of CPU, but not more than Relab Sonsig Rev-A on my machine.

Nope. Maybe it's because I'm using it as a reverb only, didn't try it as a delay+reverb yet.alexishere wrote: Sat Dec 19, 2020 1:50 amReally? It uses more than x2 of sonsig here. Thanks! Thoughts on CPU usage?db3 wrote: Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:28 pm I only started checking out Baby Audio for the first time today — impressed.
CHUKI15 promo code gives 15% discount on BA which takes Spaced Out down to $33.
I also wonder: since this is a "spacey" unit: would it make sense getting it if one already has Blackhole, SuperMassive (freebie of the year!) and Frostbite? From the demos, I think maybe Spaced Out may be a bit cleaner than those units, but that's just my impression.

The main strength for me is their ducking, cleanup knob(pre-EQ), liftoff(I think of it as glue), stardust(shimmer), phaser, flanger, chorus all built-in while everything actually sounds top of the line good.SparkySpark wrote: Sun Dec 20, 2020 12:26 amThanks!
