Cubase 11 Not Acknowledging Native Instrument Stuff?

My upgrade to Cubase 11 is ignoring the existence of any/all Native Instruments plugins. I've checked the blacklist and they aren't even mentioned there. It's like Cubase won't acknowledge them at all, but they work just fine in every other iteration of Cubase.
What do I do?

If they're not on the blacklist, then it sounds like you don't have their proper installation path added in settings.
Also, which version have you upgraded from? What's your OS?

I'm on Windows. I've put the path in at least a dozen times. It finds them and loads them, but the next time I open up C11, the path is forgotten and there is once again no NI stuff available.
This happens on blank new projects and existing projects created in C10 and 10.5
Do I have to put the path to NI stuff (and ONLY NI stuff) in every time I use Cubase 11? Is that a new feature of Cubase 11?
This makes it impossible for me to open up any projects created in older versions of Cubase.

Is that path by any chance leading to a removable drive, like USB stick or external HDD/SDD?Carpenter wrote: Wed Dec 23, 2020 1:53 am I'm on Windows. I've put the path in at least a dozen times. Strange! Do you have two paths for the plugins (the VST 2 I mean)? I have only one path which is C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins and I don't have any problem with NI stuff.Carpenter wrote: Wed Dec 23, 2020 1:53 am I'm on Windows. My path is
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VST Plugins 64 Bit
I didn't make that path manually. That is path the NI installer set up for me over a year ago when I built this machine. Cubase 10 and 10.5 have never had any problem with it. Only Cubase 11 acts like a dumb dumb.

Ahhh. . that might be the issue
You would have to manually enter that path into Cubendo... It is not a path it would normally look for.
Btw, All NI plugins give you the option of choosing a path. I know this cause I have mine installed in a different path.
Just enter that path into Cubase manually.
