Ableton Live 10 Standard - Where is the LFO?

An LFO device and a Envelope Follower are listed as available for Intro and Standard on their website, but it seems like it's completely sketchy marketing as these devices actually require Max for Live without any mentioning of this in the comparison overview. The devices are simply listed together all the other built in devices. This seems really misleading when competing DAWs like Logic and Bitwig DO include LFO and modulation devices built in.
UPDATE: Apparently I was looking at the 11 comparison chart, where it will be included in intro and standard.

That's the list for 11. In 11 Suite the LFO is under 'Audio FX', not 'Max for Live' as it has been in 10. So maybe they will include it in 11 Standard and Intro - someone with a Standard Beta could tell.

Yeah I think an LFO is Suite-only for Live 10. Do not despair, though. 11 is right around the corner, and really, drawing automation curves and assigning them to (unlinked) clip parameters, can be a beautiful thing....at least in the meantime.

Yes, no LFO in 10 without M4L.

Aren't most Live devices at least starting as M4L? I'm sure they can be 'compiled' (or rewritten) to be native and thus used in Intro and Standard. Honestly - LFO, Shaper & Env. Follower should've been 'compiled' when 10 was released, because they sucked a** as M4L devices - they were very slow to use, consumed lots of CPU, their GUIs glitched, etc.Reefius wrote: Sun Dec 20, 2020 10:09 pm I have no idea how it will work in Intro and Standard versions, because in the 11 Suite beta LFO and Envelope Follower are still M4L devices.
