They're already sneaking that in via the video player. :)

No, you send each take by post to Belgium and they return a cassette. It only takes about three weeks.

erm - you're for example recording vocals and you put a vst-reverb on the audio-track and when you speak/sing into the microphone you hear you voice with the reverb added to it... :-)

Or you want to record guitar and you're plugging an amp-sim vst into the audio-track you want to record the guitar to and when you play the guitar you hear it playing through the amp-sim.... 8)

Most sequencers have this feature nowadays.

FL can do this...just put an FX on the mixer channel you are recording into.

However it's better to route mixer channel 2 (for example) to mixer channel 3. Put a reverb on 3 and record 2 (dry). Since you should never record with FX on.

So actually he said that you can monitor + record with fx applied. What jens meant was to have fx on the audio channel, the audio you monitor gets processed with the fx, but the audio _recorded_ is dry, nice and clean. Most hosts do it this way, SX supports (since sx2 iirc) both ways, by applying fx to your input channel you can record stuff with fx already applied, but who wants to do that?

Monitor with fx, record without, play back with. Does FL do this? (I'm just confused)
