I like everything about the actual synth, and I don't have any problems with the GUI in terms of color or 3D shading.

My only complaints are with UX and the resizing, I have a bog standard 1080p display here with the Raven MTi and no resizing setting is full screen.

That's not the big one, I really do not understand why anyone would implement, fine and course fader adjustments in opposite sides of a fader depending on whether it's horizontal or vertical? it's an unnecessary layer of complexity when using this synth.

Beyond that, it's going to be like Absynth for me, used a whole hell of a lot.

Yeah I really hope he changes this. I have to stop and think about it every time. I'd rather just think "coarse is the higher range" and get used to that. Or whatever it is. Why on earth is it the lower range for horizontal...

I feel like there’s got to be some obscure reason, because it’s flatly counter intuitive, I’m in the same boat, clumsily trying to get used to it.

I like the interface visually but am finding slider action is rather inconsistent, some sliders I drag up and down, which I would expect, but some I have to drag left/right which I find is clumsy. Also this doesn't appear to correspond to whether the slider is vertical or horizontal.

Very grateful for the month-long intro price. I can hold fire for a couple of weeks and give my credit (hollow laugh) card a chance to recover from the seasonal burden I cripple it with.

No, it's embedded in the plug in, the down arrow next to the Plasmonic logo in the upper left.

Very interesting. Not a typical synth I'd use in place of another synth, more of a modeling-based alternative to sample-based evolving texture libraries. my first reaction was that this is something I'd buy if I wanted to make weird modern hip-hop with interesting textures, like Yung Lean or Wondha Mountain or something of that sort. Second reaction was, it does a good job of emulating bouncing dulcimer hammers. As a physical modeling synth, it might (or might not, would need to test it out) be limited in the amount of stuff it models effectively, but bouncing hammers with a morphing formant filter on top of them is a really cool sound.

It is, I feel like a whiney beeyoch complaining, but this is dammed near perfect.

Yeah, no, that's terrible logic. There's nothing intuitive about that, it's just a design flaw at this point. I'm absolutely stunned this 'feature' made it through beta?

The other minor complaint that I'm surprised people don't bring up more is preset browsing. It would be absolutely fantastic if the preset browser allowed you to select the next or previous preset with the arrow keys, right now it just highlights it, and when you select it, the browser closes..... You can select presets and they actually change by using the mouse pointer without closing the browser, but not with the arrow keys.

Totally agree. I keep thinking there is a problem with my adjustments in the vertical sections before realising it's the opposite of the horizontal... would prefer them both to match the horizontal setting.

And you are right about preset selection, i would prefer the preset to change when i use the arrow keys and not having to click on the preset name which adds an extra avoidable step.

Otherwise it's great.
