Composer Apathy

It sounds like some sort of DAW doesn't it, or perhaps maybe the equivalent of the antichrist of DAW's... is more apt in this case, because I don't know about anyone else around here, but I have really struggled to find any joy, motivation or perhaps even any reason in creating music. I maybe start something, but by the next day, interest in continuing has gone out the window. When I play the keyboard, I play through that of what I feel, but the emotion upon the ears of what I hear are that of an abhorrent dislike from upon what the sound conveys to me. The physical connections one has through physical touch where playing anything feels like it's, sad to my ears, too sad that you would want anyone to hear it let alone one self. For me, this has been a year long thing, but now I'm just tired despite all the bells and whistles one has with one's DAW and that of which one has bought for it in the hope that it may revitalise some sort of spark... many will know, my focus has been elsewhere this year....

Maybe my eyes are just tired of squinting at DAW's with tiny elements and text upon their interfaces as well...

But then when people give you hints without personal insults like "less is more", you don't care about it either, you don't respond or leave the thread completely...

(A few might be scratching their heads upon looking at your post, but to enlighten others, it's regarding a post made in the Intrancersonic Update Progress thread)

As for your post, I didn't respond to it directly, it was pretty much a nondescript statement and supplemented with a vague assumption others may have. I then implemented the modifications that I thought you might be referring to and responded in describing what I had changed in a number of posts thereafter.

Yea.. playing music with other human beings is a great way to get your head in the right place. Tough to pull that off these days.

Sometimes you just need a break from it and I don't blame anyone for lack of output right now. I stopped cold right before Halloween with no plans to go back at it til after the feast of the circumcision of Christ
