in need of a new effect, any suggestions?

i was looking at TAL's free plugins and noticed how good the bitcrusher and flanger both sound and look. the flanger has a synch option which pairs it nicely with valhalla dsp's free delay plugin with the bode frequency shifter. when i auditioned the bitcrusher i felt like i might wind up over using it, since the sample rate control tends to cause some really cool aliasing. im worried that could become noticeable over time if i wind up using it to help build a full dicography.

does anyone know of some new comers to the plugin development scene which might cause someone who appreciates TAL to take a second look? thinking about someone like loomer, but out in the past five or so years.

that's a really vague question. If you need or want free plugins, there are plenty of lists for you to choose from and then the rest is up to you.

Get permut8. It's a zinger. I'm just listing random stuff. The tal stuff is pretty vanilla (however well made) so I dunno what you might be looking for. I'm just spouting random things I like.
