Hm, doesn't the free TAL-chorus-LX sound a lot better and also provides more control at once?

A plugin that needs to be unlocked by the vendor to work isn't free.
I am happy with the Tal one.

Simply not gonna install the Arturia Software Center for this one. But the necessity for that might be the only reason the plugin is free. Anyway, the TAL one sounds amazing to me anyway!

So, what is free to you? A plug-in that needs to be downloaded from the Internet isn't free either. They should deliver it directly to you.rasmusklump wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 10:51 am A plugin that needs to be unlocked by the vendor to work isn't free.
I am happy with the Tal one.
And the Chorus Jun-6 isn't free. It is free TEMPORARILY.

Care to explain? The necessity for that is because the plug-in is free TEMPORARILY. It has to be authorized to be protected.jonasbbech wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 12:15 pm .../... the necessity for that might be the only reason the plugin is free.

The Arturia allows for more control.Hanz Meyzer wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 10:47 am Hm, doesn't the free TAL-chorus-LX sound a lot better and also provides more control at once?

I agree with the first part but not about the Tal due to the texture, but like it. I hate having to mix out grit if I don't want it. It's nice to skip a step if the sonic treatment is just inert instead, without any flavor.jonasbbech wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 12:15 pm Simply not gonna install the Arturia Software Center for this one. I dislike installing dependencies. I notice that with vid software and everything competing for hotkeys, it gets so annoying.
I don't make audio products anymore. I sell furniture & smart products.

Eh no...
I mean, sounding better is arguable, but, the Jun-6 definitely has more controls (there's no way to manually operated the Chorus parameters in the TAL one).

I suppose, but there is something off about the Arturia one, or is that how it is supposed to sound?

I have no idea TBH. All that I can say is that the Arturia one sounds a lot cleaner than the TAL one. I guess it's what kingozrecords refers to as "texture" on the TAL.
